Personality: 
Nadir comes off like a rather warm and outspoken man with a net of contacts all over Tusa.
He’s got charm that can blow you away but be aware his charming words and attitude are
rarely genuine; when he’s done with you he usually loses his interest. As a lover he’s rough
but brief, and a bit selfish. 

As a friend however Nadir is loyal like a dog and won’t let you down whenever you need a
favor; if you show the same loyalty towards him that is.
He’s got a great appetite for both liquor and women, spending a lot of money on such
usually in the company of friends.

History: 
Born and raised in Tusa Nadir and his twin sister Dilara grew up in a rich and rather bohemian
family with promiscuous tendencies and from an early age they both were to witness everything
that the word orgy could possibly fulfill. While Dilara grew up to be a very calm and content soul
Nadir did not. Developing a restless demeanor and often getting himself into troubl even if it
usually was no big mischiefs it did stain the family name and he soon found himself at the point
where their father had enough. Putting his son in Military schooling he thought he would learn
some discipline at least.

Starting off as a student at Tusa Military Academy Nadir was an easy learner but as stated earlier
completely lacked discipline and he almost got himself kicked out several times before he
eventually managed to graduate. Fed up on the system he headed out, leaving the city for a
while and provided himself through mercenary work. However the young elf soon got himself
into some problems with money, lending from the wrong people and in the end he had to come
crawling back home to have his father help him to pay off his debts.

After that Nadir’s father was fed up (again) with his son’s behavior and decided to put him under the
guidance of an at that time well known order, Banu al Sahra’a; Sons of the Desert, or the name
they were more known for Al Aqrab, “The Scorpion” from the fact that every member carries the
tattoo of a scorpion. They were an order of highly disciplined cavalry mercenaries sworn to protect
the city and their home, Tusa. Nadir became one of them as an apprentice under the guidance of
an efendi (master), Jalil Faijad.

Jalil who was basically born and raised within the order did take the young Nadir under his
wing but disciplined him with an iron fist and in time even the troublemaker earned the
honorable scorpion tattoo that he proudly wears over his right collarbone.  

Pretty soon after Nadir became a full feathered Aqrab his parents had decided it was time for
their son to get married and they arranged a marriage with Aldama, the daughter of a
wealthy merchant. None of them, husband or wife, were particularly interested in each other
and Aldama seemed almost spiteful against her husband and Nadir never really made an
attempt to like her. For years now they live as husband and wife only on the documents and
rarely speak with each other. Nadir is spending more time at the local brothels and at different
mistresses than he does at home much to his now elderly parents dislike.



Additional info: 

- Nadir likes luxury and spends a lot of money on just that. It’s the best wine, luxury whores,
fine garments etc.

- Nadir and his former efendi Jalil are still close friends.

- About Banu al Sahra'a;
They used to be a well known guild of peaceful mounted mercenaries that individually went on
to do their business just like any mercenaries, but they have all sworn to aid Tusa whenever it
is needed. However, a good 50 years ago their leader was assassinated and after that the guild
has been run by a small council in the lack of a new leader. The council is rarely agreed about
anything which have made the amount of mercenaries within the guild to decrease in number,
most of them are not active any longer as long as the council is ruling. Right now they are merely
a shadow of what they used to be and most Tusans have probably forgot about them.
